The contest ends on 3/15, but on 3/9 there’s even more reason to celebrate with Broken Bells when they release their debut album on 3/9. There’s pretty vinyl and a CD, and a special deluxe edition that you can get at some indie record stores.  And honestly, that limited box? It’s pretty cool, even to those folks feeling a little jaded by “special editions”. It’s got the Broken Bells music, of course, along with a 44 page pocket notebook, postcards, posters, glow in the dark stickers (!) and a music chip THAT PLAYS A SONG WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOX. Not just any song, either, it’s “The Overture”, an exclusive song created just for this piece.
