DISCLAIMER: there are a lot of independent record stores that participate in Record Store Day. Not all of them will choose to participate in all promotions, or carry all releases. Just because a store is listed here does NOT mean it will have the goodie or record you are looking for. That said, find a store near you and check with them directly. It is always a good idea to be BFFs with your neighborhood record store.

More Info:

Among the songs included on the soundtrack are "Power Hungry Animals" from Nashville's The Apache Relay and "Alone" from Duluth, MN bluegrass band Trampled By Turtles, which both highlight poignant moments in the film. The collection also features "Shine" from Chicago-based sibling duo Wild Belle, whose debut album " Isle" was released earlier this year, and includes classic songs from Mr. Mister, INXS and Robert Palmer alongside contemporary music from Ben Kweller and Army Navy. Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, co-writers of "The Descendants," produced the soundtrack along with music supervisor Linda Cohen, and carefully chose a mix of older classics and more recent music that transcends genres.
